At first glance, Miss Maria Patria Puyat’s elegant demeanor and eminent stance exudes a woman who naturally transforms her imaginative ideas into a successful reality.

Reared in her family’s visionary prowess, Patria had the right tools and a laser-like vision of the roles that she wanted to achieve after graduating from school. Having spent many precious moments of her childhood in hotels, it was clear to her that her goal was to be involved in hospitality, and the one place that she wanted to work in was at the InterContinental Manila, the hotel where her father had often brought her to.
That vision was realized after Patria, then newly graduated from a top ranking hospitality school in Switzerland, Les Roches, was hired at the InterContinental Manila.
With firm perseverance and definitive work endurance, Patria impressed her superiors, eventually earning her a promotion every couple of years into being the first Filipina Director of Food and Beverage at the InterContinental Manila.
