Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has expanded its network of intermodal transport options with the launch of “Park & Fly,” a new cross-boundary travel solution designed to enhance convenience for travellers from Guangdong Province and Macao. This innovative solution expands HKIA’s growing network of passenger transport options and supports seamless connectivity across the Greater Bay Area (GBA).
The Park & Fly service allows eligible travellers to drive their own qualified vehicles across the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) and directly access the Park & Fly automated car park located adjacent to HKIA, without the need to clear Hong Kong border control. After parking, departure passengers board a bonded bus that takes them straight to the airport’s restricted area for flight boarding. Arrival passengers will be transported by bonded bus from the restricted area back to the car park to retrieve their vehicles.

Travellers must pre-book the service online via a one-stop platform operated by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK).
Fred Lam, Chairman of AAHK, said: “Park & Fly signifies our commitment to the GBA market and regional integration. In addition to cross-boundary high-speed ferries, buses, and high-speed rail, Park & Fly provides another option for travellers from Guangdong and Macao that brings the airport right to their doorsteps.”
Hong Kong’s Secretary for Transport and Logistics, Mable Chan, highlighted the strategic significance of the new link: “The new airport connection demonstrates even more comprehensively the value of the HZMB as a ‘Bridge of Unity.’ The Park & Fly automated car park is a key supporting facility for the Southbound Travel Scheme and represents its first major milestone. One bridge, two-way connectivity, benefitting numerous industries and creating limitless opportunities, the journey begins today.”
