Carina Leagues Club has unveiled plans for Bayside Pavilion, a $25 million waterfront dining and entertainment precinct set to transform Brisbane’s eastern foreshore in Wynnum. Scheduled to open in 2028, the three-level venue will offer an unmatched combination of dining, leisure, and family-friendly experiences.

The proposed precinct will feature:
A cafe and fish-and-chips takeaway
A 300-seat restaurant with waterfront views and a private dining room
Rooftop bar and sports lounge
Flexible function spaces
A two-storey supervised children’s play area
Carina Leagues Club CEO Adam Wiencke said, “Our vision is to deliver a community-first venue that elevates the Wynnum waterfront, preserving and respecting the heritage of the land while enhancing the surrounding area. We’re proud to bring our award-winning hospitality model to the bayside—a place designed for families, locals, and visitors to gather, relax, and enjoy first-class dining and entertainment experiences.”
The development is part of the club’s strategic evolution toward becoming a multi-site operator and aligns with the Wynnum 2046 Investment Plan. The project is also strategically timed to support Brisbane’s growth ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The site is owned by Wynnum community leaders Adam and Kylie Lipke, who acquired the land two years ago from Kylie’s mother, Sue Lawson, who held it for three decades. “Our family has been part of this community for decades, and partnering with Carina Leagues Club brings the hospitality experience, business acumen, and financial stability needed to create something truly special for the bayside,” said Adam Lipke.
Altis Architecture and Ashley Cooper Construction have been appointed to deliver the project, with Ashley Cooper Construction having previously supported the club’s $16 million renovation.
This announcement comes ahead of Carina Leagues Club’s upcoming phase two extension.
Bayside Pavilion will also focus on activating public spaces around the precinct, enhancing the area as a hub for community engagement, leisure, and tourism.
