Singapore Hotels Set New Performance Records Driven by Formula 1 Grand Prix

The Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix 2025 once again delivered a powerful boost to the nation’s hotel industry, according to preliminary October data released by CoStar, a leading provider of commercial real estate analytics. Hotels across Singapore reported historic highs in key performance metrics, underscoring the Grand Prix’s substantial economic impact.

Historic Hotel Performance During October 2025


Singapore’s hotel sector achieved its highest-ever monthly average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) in October 2025, with occupancy also reaching its strongest October level since 2019. The 2025 Singapore Grand Prix was held from October 3 to 5.

  • Occupancy: 82.8% (+6.5%)

  • ADR: SGD 384.15 (+19.5%)

  • RevPAR: SGD 317.96 (+27.3%)


Record-Breaking Race Weekend Results


Peak performance occurred on Friday, 3 October, when all three key indicators, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR, reached unprecedented daily highs:

  • Occupancy: 95.9%

  • ADR: SGD 757.62

  • RevPAR: SGD 726.47


These results surpass last year’s race-weekend performance, when the Grand Prix took place from 20–22 September 2024. During that period, occupancy peaked at 91.7% (20 September), while ADR and RevPAR reached SGD 682.31 (21 September) and SGD 613.56 (20 September), respectively.


This year’s daily occupancy peak marked the strongest level recorded since January 2020, while the ADR and RevPAR highs exceeded all previous daily records.


Consistent Strong Performance Throughout the Month


Throughout October, Singapore’s occupancy remained consistently strong, staying above 70% on every night except Monday, 20 October (68.1%), reinforcing the Grand Prix’s role as a major driver of tourism and hospitality revenue. This year’s daily occupancy peak marked the strongest level since January 2020, while ADR and RevPAR highs exceeded all previous daily records.
