An Evening At Barcino

Barcino’s is well known for their paellas and sangrias, but they have a whole other list of food and drinks that should be just as known. It’s a great place to catch up with friends with a pitcher or two, or to celebrate something special with your significant other. Let’s take a closer look at their extensive menu and some of their delicious desserts.

We started the late afternoon by watching the sun go down and sipping on some cocktails. Of course, we had to get some sangrias and what we quickly realized is that there is no wrong choice. Any sangria that you choose will be tasty and refreshing regardless if it's red wine or white wine-based. Some were more fruity than others such as the Sangria de Rosa Espumuso which contains watermelon and lychee. If you are open to trying new things they also have a Sangria Azul which as the name suggests it’s definitely blue made with orange slices and blue curacao. The sangrias are also made with different liqueurs and spirits. Some had a splash of the following, rum, gin, tequila, brandy, and even clamansi liqueur. Make sure to read those descriptions to find your favorite one!

To start us off we ordered a few small bites to see what the tapas were like. If you are unfamiliar with tapas, it is a Spanish word that encompasses small snack-type dishes or appetizers. It usually involves some cured meats, cheeses, olives, and such and does not necessarily need to be cooked or hot. It’s a bit of this and a bit of that but a hundred percent delicious!
