Cybersecurity in Focus!

Last April 29, 2025, HRRACI held a Cybercrime & Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar at Holiday Inn Cebu City, Philippines, with guest speaker PCol. Lemuel B. Gonda, Chief of the Regional Anti–Cybercrime Unit 7.

Attended primarily by IT professionals and social media heads from member hotels in Cebu City, Mandaue City and Cebu province, the seminar tackled online threats and how to protect our digital presence—an essential move in today’s cyber-risk-filled landscape.

Member hotels and resorts in Mactan will have their separate seminar at a later date.

As awareness for cybersecurity in hotels and resorts throughout Asia grows, expect to see more seminars on this important topic.
