EVENTS: WOFEX Drinks & Bakes 2026

You may have already heard of the World Food Expo, better known as WOFEX. They hold expos all over the Philippines, bringing brands, manufacturers, food and beverage companies, and cooking and baking demonstrations together for a jam-packed event. The event is so vast that it has a separate expo, WOFEX Drinks & Bakes, which, as you can guess from the name, focuses on beverages and delectable baked goods. 

This year’s Drinks & Bakes event was held at the World Trade Center in Pasay, Manila, from February 25th to the 27th. 

All WOFEX events offer online registration in advance, usually a month or two out, for your convenience. However, if you were not able to secure a ticket beforehand, you can always purchase one on whichever day you choose to attend. 

There are usually several things happening at the same time under one roof. Checking their website and social media pages for the schedule of events, competitions, and demonstrations across the venue's stages and sections will help you maximize your time. They also offer private seminars and educational opportunities for an additional price. For those, you will have to register and pay in advance to secure your spot.

If you are fond of masterclasses or a quick but in-depth learning experience, make sure to check the topics available for the private seminars. They are always taught by experienced professionals, and it’s a great way to up your skills and knowledge every year, as the topics are never exactly the same. The wonderful thing about this event is that you will never be bored. Aside from going to all the different booths and sampling various products, ingredients, and supporting local produce, there’s also the impressive Cake Fiesta, the Philippine Bar Scene, and the Philippine International Coffee Competition, where you can see everyone from students to seasoned professionals showcasing their very best skills and talents. You can watch some bakers decorate their impressive cakes with specific themes and characters in mind; you can also see and smell all the coffee concoctions made by baristas representing their country and battling it out; and watch students chant for their school during a mixology contest. There’s usually something lively happening at every corner, which, in my opinion, makes it worthwhile. 

The next WOFEX Drinks & Bakes has already been announced for January 28-30, 2027, so make sure to mark your calendars.
