FOOD REVIEW: Unlimited Dim Sum at Xin Tian Di Is Worth the Hype

If you’ve been to Hong Kong, then chances are you have indulged in an eat-all-you-can Dim Sum meal. The good thing is that Dim Sum lovers in the Philippines need not travel to Hong Kong to experience this optimal Cantonese meal. It is offered right at Xin Tian Di Restaurant in Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria..

Situated at the center of Ortigas Business District in Pasig, this award winning restaurant doles out endless Dim Sum varieties from 11am - 2pm and from 6pm - 10pm, until you say stop.

Sounds appetizing? All the more when you find yourself inside Xin Tian Di’s plush dining area, receiving special treatment and being served with traditional Chinese black tea by its well-trained hospitable staff. Once your palate has been neutralized by the tea, you may expect the first tray of your chosen Dim Sums to be laid on your table.

You may opt to start with a plate of soup dumplings, Xiao Long Bao, then pan-fried Radish Cake with pork, alternating with Steamed Pork Ribs and Peking Duck Roll with scallions, and adding in seafood dumplings, like Hakaw or steamed shrimp dumplings and Salmon Dumplings, then blending in a serving of Wok-Fried Noodles with a choice of shredded chicken or beef, and perhaps some Hot Prawn Salad in mayonnaise dressing, or try an exotic dish like Jelly Fish with Century Egg.

This is just a preview of what you may expect from the culinary creations of Xin Tian Di’s Executive Chef, David Chu who received the Best Head Chef in the Philippines at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards in 2025.

Indeed, as my companion and I have discovered, every dim sum that we ate bore robust texture and full flavors of each ingredient, certainly nothing compensated by extra starch, sauces or thickeners. Even their desserts, like the Sesame and Chocolate Lava Buchis and Almond Jelly are rich and satisfying. 

You get what you ordered, knowing that it’s absolutely premium quality; then you would realize why Xin Tian Di has received several accolades in the last four years, including the 2022 Continent Winner for Chinese Cuisine, 2024 Recommended Restaurant and 2024 Regional Winner by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards.

This is why it is worth allotting at least two hours to enjoy this unlimited Dim Sum experience to the fullest.
