NEWS: Frasers House Opens in Bugis as Singapore’s Newest Luxury Collection Hotel

Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore, has officially opened its doors in the heart of Bugis, marking the transformation of the former InterContinental Singapore into a new landmark under Marriott International’s prestigious Luxury Collection portfolio.

The opening follows the strategic agreement announced in October 2025 between Marriott International and Frasers, and represents the brand’s second Luxury Collection hotel in Singapore and its first in the vibrant city-centre district of Bugis.

The hotel will undergo a phased transformation, culminating in a total of 406 rooms and suites. Returning guests will recognize the property’s signature Peranakan-inspired design heritage, which has been carefully preserved and reinterpreted as part of the refresh.

The hotel’s 1,000 square metres of event space, including its iconic grand ballroom and library, will remain, enhanced with updated design elements, modern amenities, and heritage-inspired accents to support both business and social gatherings.

Guests can also look forward to a revitalised wellness offering and reimagined dining concepts across the hotel’s existing restaurants, designed to celebrate local flavours, craftsmanship, and conviviality while delivering contemporary culinary experiences.
