Gordon Ramsay Burger to Close at Harrods as Restaurant Group Contract Concludes

Gordon Ramsay Burger at Harrods will officially close its doors in January 2026, following the conclusion of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants’ contract with the iconic luxury department store.

The closure comes as part of a broader transformation of Harrods’ food and beverage strategy, following a strategic review conducted earlier this year. The review focused on evolving customer preferences and wider hospitality industry trends, including a growing demand for earlier dining experiences.

As part of this realignment, several other high-profile chef partnerships will also come to an end, including those with acclaimed chef Tom Kerridge and sushi master Masayoshi Takayama. However, a select number of chef-led concepts will remain within the Harrods portfolio, including Kinoya Ramen Bar.

In addition to the London site, the conclusion of the partnership will also result in the closure of Gordon Ramsay at The Residence, a premium private members’ club restaurant located in Harrods’ Shanghai development. The restaurant had been operating for under two years.

Positioned to cater to Harrods' luxury clientele, Gordon Ramsay Burger is known for its elevated approach to the classic burger, with menu highlights including the Hell’s Kitchen Burger (£26) and the indulgent Celebration Burger (£37.50), which features double smashed beef patties, lobster, burrata, and house-made condiments.

First launched in Las Vegas in 2012, Gordon Ramsay Burger continues to focus on the North American market, with successful locations in Las Vegas, Boston, Chicago, and Vancouver. The concept is distinct from the more accessible Gordon Ramsay Street Burger, which operates across the UK in cities including London, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Reading, and Woking.

While Gordon Ramsay Restaurants declined to comment further, a spokesperson confirmed that the group’s contract with Harrods will formally end early next year.
