Renowned French luxury patisserie Ladurée has officially returned to the Philippines with the opening of its first Southeast Asian flagship store in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. The store marks a major milestone in the brand’s re-entry into the region, bringing with it the timeless elegance of Parisian café culture.
The grand opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano and Congressman Jorge Bocobo, who welcomed the iconic French brand back to Manila after a multi-year absence.
Located in the heart of BGC, the new Ladurée Café and Salon de Thé offers an immersive full-service dining and tea experience. Guests can indulge in Ladurée’s world-famous macarons while enjoying a curated menu that reflects the sophistication and charm of traditional French patisseries.
“This is more than just an international brand entering the country,” said Karan Gopwani, CEO of Gastronova, the local partner bringing Ladurée to the Philippines. “We want Filipino consumers to feel as if Ladurée was made for the Philippines.”
Ladurée first opened in Manila in 2015 but closed its doors in 2019 amid the global pandemic. The newly launched flagship marks its much-anticipated comeback—bigger, bolder, and fully committed to delivering the iconic Ladurée experience to both long-time fans and first-time visitors.
About Ladurée: Founded in Paris in 1862, Ladurée is celebrated worldwide for its luxurious confections, particularly its double-decker macarons, and elegant tea rooms that have become a symbol of French art de vivre.
