Vietnamese restaurant group HOP is set to expand its presence in the capital with the upcoming opening of a new site on Tottenham Court Road, marking its fifth London location and further strengthening its footprint in one of the city’s busiest dining and retail districts.

A fast-growing Vietnamese food brand is about to take over one of London’s busiest dining strips
Strategically positioned near Tottenham Court Road station, the new 2,500 sq ft restaurant will bring HOP’s fast-casual Vietnamese dining concept to a high-footfall central London location known for its mix of offices, universities, and cultural attractions.
The new restaurant will accommodate approximately 60 diners and will continue HOP’s established format of combining quick service with fresh, made-to-order Vietnamese cuisine. The menu will feature a selection of signature dishes, including rice boxes, pho, noodle salads and bánh mì, alongside a variety of small plates and beverages inspired by Vietnamese street food culture.
To enhance convenience and speed of service, the Tottenham Court Road site will incorporate a hybrid ordering system. Customers will be able to place orders via in-store self-service kiosks or by scanning QR codes directly at their tables, reflecting the brand’s ongoing investment in streamlined, technology-enabled hospitality.
“We’re Bringing HOP to the Heart of London”
Paul Hopper, founder of HOP, commented on the expansion:“ We’re incredibly excited to be opening on Tottenham Court Road, bringing HOP to such a vibrant and buzzing part of London. Our mission has always been to share the freshness, vibrancy, and natural goodness of Vietnamese cuisine, and this new location allows us to reach even more people.”
He added that the brand remains focused on balancing growth with culinary authenticity and accessibility: “As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering authentic, nourishing food in a fast and accessible way, while staying true to the culture and inspiration behind HOP.”
A Strategic Move in London’s Food Wars
The new opening adds to HOP’s growing portfolio of locations across London, including sites in London Wall, St Paul’s, King’s Cross, and West One Shopping Centre. The group also operates restaurants in Manchester, including the Trafford Centre and Market Street, as part of its wider UK expansion strategy.
More Expansion Already Planned
HOP has indicated plans for continued growth, with additional UK locations expected to open by the end of 2026. The brand’s expansion reflects increasing consumer demand for high-quality, fast-casual dining options that combine global flavours with convenience and consistency.
As HOP continues to scale, the company aims to maintain its core identity: delivering fresh, Vietnamese-inspired food in accessible urban locations while leveraging technology to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency.
