London-based hospitality operator Inception Group has secured a prime site in Covent Garden’s historic Market Building for a new flagship Mr Fogg’s Tavern, further strengthening the brand’s presence in the area.

The new venue will occupy the former Crusting Pipe site and will become the fourth Mr Fogg’s location in Covent Garden. It will join the existing Mr Fogg’s Tavern on St Martin’s Lane, the Gin Parlour located above, and the Society of Exploration, home to the world’s first automated Negroni-making machine.
Scheduled to open in summer, the forthcoming Mr Fogg’s Tavern will span approximately 4,500 sq ft and accommodate 130 covers. The venue will showcase the brand’s signature Victorian-inspired interiors, complemented by a 65-seat courtyard set within the iconic Covent Garden Market Building.
Commenting on the announcement, Charlie Gilkes, co-founder of Inception Group, said:
“It’s a huge honour to be opening one of our tavern concepts in such a heritage location, and we are very grateful to Shaftesbury Capital for the opportunity.”
The opening marks another milestone for Inception Group as it continues to expand its portfolio of immersive, design-led hospitality concepts across London’s most sought-after destinations.
