Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) is pleased to announce the signing of a management agreement for Parkroyal Serviced Suites Manila Bay, a 169-key property set to open in the first quarter of 2027. The new development marks a strategic expansion of the group’s long-stay portfolio in Southeast Asia, following its recent serviced suites debut in Hanoi.
The Philippines continues to emerge as a key destination for international travelers, with official data showing 14.7 million arrivals in 2024. The country’s top source markets include South Korea, the United States, China, Japan, Australia, and Singapore. Visitors are increasingly extending their stays, with the average duration rising to more than 11 nights – up from around nine nights pre-pandemic.
“Across Southeast Asia, we’re witnessing a clear shift towards longer stays driven by a variety of factors including corporate travel, relocations, multi-generational trips, extended assignments, and project-based group stays that blur the lines between work and leisure,” said Choe Peng Sum, CEO of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

Situated within a two-tower mixed-use development comprising offices and retail spaces, Parkroyal Serviced Suites Manila Bay is designed as a contemporary long-stay concept. The property emphasizes flexible spaces, intuitive technology, and a strong sense of community, delivering the comforts of home alongside Parkroyal’s signature hospitality. Sustainability is a core focus, ensuring that longer stays are both seamless and responsible.
“Parkroyal Serviced Suites Manila Bay represents a strategic step in our long-stay roadmap,” added Choe. “We aim to redefine extended-stay experiences by combining thoughtful design, modern amenities, and our hallmark service excellence to meet the evolving needs of today’s travelers.”
The upcoming property reinforces PPHG’s commitment to expanding its presence in the region’s long-stay segment, catering to discerning travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and connectivity for both business and leisure purposes.
