Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), the real estate arm of the Gokongwei Group, is set to strengthen its presence in Northern Luzon with the launch of Grand Summit Pangasinan, a new addition to its award-winning Grand Summit hotel brand. The hotel, slated to open in 2027, marks the brand’s debut in Northern Luzon and will be the only branded hospitality property in the region.
Developed through RLC’s hospitality division, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), Grand Summit Pangasinan is poised to become a full-service upscale destination for both business and leisure travelers. Strategically located along the Dagupan–Urdaneta Road in Calasiao, Pangasinan, the seven-storey hotel will be seamlessly integrated into the Robinsons Pangasinan Mall complex.
“The expansion of our Grand Summit brand is a key part of our growing hotel portfolio and further bolsters RLC’s leadership position in the Philippine hospitality sector,” said Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio, President and CEO of Robinsons Land Corporation.
Reflecting the brand’s commitment to providing comfort, culture, and authentic experiences, Grand Summit Pangasinanwill feature 100 well-appointed rooms—including 93 standard rooms, four junior suites, and three executive suites ranging from 38 to 116 square meters.
The hotel will offer a curated selection of amenities such as:
An all-day dining restaurant
Lobby lounge
Pool bar and outdoor dining area
Ballroom and meeting rooms
Gym and spa
Outdoor swimming pool
Groundbreaking is scheduled for July 7, 2025, marking the start of construction on what promises to be a modern hospitality landmark in the region.
Grand Summit Pangasinan joins the growing Grand Summit portfolio, which includes the flagship Grand Summit Hotel General Santos. Its central location—between Dagupan City, Lingayen, and San Carlos City—positions the hotel as an ideal base for travelers exploring the cultural and natural wonders of Pangasinan and greater Northern Luzon.
“Northern Luzon continues to evolve as a dynamic hub for travel and commerce,” said Barun Jolly, RLC Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts. “In Calasiao, we saw the perfect opportunity to create something that speaks to both leisure and business travelers. We’re proud to bring the Grand Summit experience to this vibrant region.”
The launch of Grand Summit Pangasinan reinforces RLC’s deep commitment to Northern Luzon, where it has developed an extensive footprint across multiple sectors:
Retail: Robinsons Malls in Pampanga, Tarlac, La Union, and Ilocos Norte
Residential: Horizontal communities in Ilocos Norte
Office Spaces: Robinsons Offices in San Nicolas (Ilocos Norte), Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija
Mixed-Use Developments: The upcoming Montclair Destination Estate in Porac, Pampanga—spanning 216 hectares and integrating homes, offices, hotels, retail, green spaces, and logistics facilities
“Our developments across Northern and Central Luzon reflect Robinsons Land’s long-term vision of inclusive growth,” added Aragon-GoBio. “By integrating our businesses across retail, residential, hospitality, offices, and logistics, we aim to foster thriving communities and contribute to broader national progress.”
