Tourism Malaysia Launches Over 300 Exciting Events for Visit Malaysia 2026

Tourism Malaysia has unveiled a dynamic calendar of more than 300 events under its Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign, showcasing a rich blend of festivals, ecotourism experiences, and major lifestyle events across the nation.

The 2026 Calendar of Events (COE) features a diverse lineup of “Surreal Experiences,” ranging from sporting events and comedy shows to concerts, conferences, cultural festivals, craft fairs, and large-scale retail campaigns. Events are strategically spread throughout the country to encourage visitors to explore destinations beyond Malaysia’s major cities.

Singapore continues to be a key market for VM2026, recognized as Malaysia’s “most significant partner in tourism,” said Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, during the Malaysia Carnival 2026, a three-day fair held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from 30 January to 1 February 2026.

“By launching our 2026 Calendar of Events here in Singapore, we are inviting our friends to be among the first to plan their journeys and rediscover a Malaysia that is sustainable, vibrant, and beyond imagination,” he said.

The Tourism Malaysia Pavilion at the carnival features six Singaporean travel agents, including 96 Travel, EU Holidays, Singatour, Transtar Travel, WTS Travel & Tours, and Meidi Travel Solutions. Visitors who make purchases from these co-exhibitors will receive an exclusive gift from Tourism Malaysia.

In 2025, Malaysia welcomed 21.1 million Singaporean visitors, marking an 11.8% year-on-year increase, underscoring the strong tourism connection between the two countries.
