Writing in its latest accounts on Companies House, the French-based Italian restaurant group said its five-strong London estate, which includes Gloria in Shoreditch, Ave Mario in Covent Garden, and Carlotta in Marylebone, had "all performed strongly, exceeding expectations, driven by strong customer feedback and brand awareness."
The group also opened its first regional site over the year, La Bellezza in Birmingham, which launched in November 2024.
Pre-tax profits for the year stood at £2m, down from £3.7m in 2023; however, the group's gross profit margin rose from 72% to 74% over the period.
It comes as Big Mamma prepares to expand its estate with two new restaurants further confirmed and additional ones being considered.
