Miami, FL – Celebrity Cruises today announced it will launch its first-ever river cruise itineraries in 2027, bringing the award-winning Celebrity experience to Europe’s iconic waterways.

Beginning September 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. EDT, travelers can secure Priority Booking Access with a fully refundable deposit of US$500, granting early access to 2027 river sailings on the Danube and Rhine ahead of the general public.

“We are excited to offer guests the chance to experience the first-ever Celebrity River Cruises vacations in 2027 with Priority Booking Access,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises. “Guests will enjoy the warm hospitality Celebrity is known for, on innovative new ships, with land experiences unlike any other, as we set sail on Europe’s legendary Danube and Rhine rivers.”

The inaugural itineraries will feature brand-new river ships inspired by Celebrity’s Edge Series ocean vessels, designed to deliver the same modern luxury experience guests have come to expect. Fares will be all-inclusive, covering:

  • All meals

  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Wi-Fi

  • Onboard experiences

  • One shore excursion per day

Travelers will also have the option to extend their journey with pre- and post-cruise stays in Prague and Budapest, available beginning in 2026.

Further details—including destinations, ship specifications, and curated excursions—will be announced when full bookings open. Guests securing Priority Booking Access should note that it does not guarantee a specific ship, sailing date, or stateroom category.
