Disney Cruise Line announced that the maiden voyage of the Disney Adventure has been rescheduled to March 10, 2026, due to shipbuilding delays.
The adjustment impacts sailings originally scheduled between December 15, 2025, and March 12, 2026. The company is reaching out directly to affected guests and travel partners with rebooking options and special offers. Guests booked on the original maiden voyage will automatically be moved to the new March 10, 2026 sailing and will receive a 50 percent discount on their voyage fare. Those who cannot sail on the new date may request a full refund by September 21, 2025, while still retaining their 50 percent discount for future use. Passengers booked on other cancelled sailings will receive an automatic refund to their original payment method and will also receive a 50 percent discount on a future Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Future cruise discounts must be used for bookings made by March 31, 2026, with departures scheduled on or before March 31, 2027. New Disney Adventure sailings for 2027 will open for booking beginning in March 2026. All discounts will be visible in guest accounts by October 8, 2025, and for earlier bookings the discount will be applied retroactively with updated confirmations issued within 72 hours.
Disney Cruise Line confirmed that commission structures for travel partners will remain unchanged. Commissions for cancelled sailings will be honored, and commissions for new bookings made with the 50 percent discount will be calculated on the discounted fare.
“We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Disney Adventure’s debut to ensure every detail meets Disney’s highest standards,” the company said.
