Meliá Hotels International Accelerates Luxury Expansion Across Asia with Landmark 2026 Openings

Meliá Hotels International has announced a major acceleration of its luxury portfolio across Asia, unveiling a series of high-profile openings slated for 2026. Leading the expansion is Paradisus by Meliá Bali, the brand’s first all-inclusive luxury resort in the region, set to debut in December 2026.
The company will extend its footprint into several key destinations, including Vietnam, Laos, Dubai, and the Maldives, as it continues to strengthen its position as a leading luxury hospitality group in Asia.
A New Era of All-Inclusive Luxury in Bali
Paradisus by Meliá Bali will introduce elevated all-inclusive experiences tailored for both adults and families. The resort will feature The Reserve, an exclusive adults-only enclave, alongside the Family Concierge concept offering personalized luxury services. Additional features include the signature Kidsdom club, the YourWay lounge designed for teenagers, and a dedicated water park, bringing a comprehensive luxury offering to the island.
Robust Growth in Vietnam
Vietnam will be a major focal point for Meliá in 2026.
Meliá Serenity Cam Ranh Beach Resort is scheduled to open in the second quarter along the pristine Long Beach coastline.
Later in the year, Meliá Aurea Nha Trang will join the portfolio next to the iconic Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá, further strengthening the brand’s presence in one of the nation’s key resort destinations.
In addition, the company will transform Meliá Ba Vi Mountain Retreat into a property under The Meliá Collection between now and 2027. Nestled in Ba Vi National Park, just an hour from Hanoi, the property will continue to highlight its distinctive blend of French colonial architecture and Vietnamese village aesthetics.
Expansion in Laos
In Laos, the Grand Luang Prabang, Affiliated by Meliá, which overlooks the Mekong River, will undergo a two-year rebranding process to join The Meliá Collection, reinforcing the company’s commitment to curating unique, independent luxury hotels across the region.
