Low season is used by a good number of hoteliers in the Philippines, especially by resorts in the most beautiful island locations like Boracay, Palawan, Cebu.
“Low season” sounds like a depressing sales report wrapped in a thunderstorm. It conjures up images of empty lobbies, overworked staff, and tumbleweeds rolling through the breakfast buffet.
Why do they keep on using such a self-sabotaging term?
Why do all the “visionary and strategic sales & marketing executives” keep on being so boring and unimaginative?
